Stage one of the final plot of the PGT is almost done! This part was played out in Desiderata Valley, and after getting just a few more pictures, I'll be ready to move back to New Riverblossom and play the rest of the time there. I'm probably also going to be writing up the next two or three updates soon. I won't be posting them until I'm all done, though. Then I'll post everything at once, one chapter after the next.

I've really had fun with this plot, and I'm so glad I came up with it as a way to end the PGT. The end is in sight! It feels odd, but good. I can't wait to have it finished.

I almost wish I could tell you all what I'm doing, but I'm saving it, keeping it secret, until it's over and done with. You'll find out eventually. :P

After being tough and hanging in there way longer than Jim or I thought he could, McDuff finally got bad enough last night and this morning that it was clear he was suffering. Jim took him to the vet this morning and put him to sleep.

Our house has lost one small dog, and he has left a huge hole.

(With Rosebud, his lifelong companion.)

McDuff was a puppy mill puppy, that Jim's ex-wife bought from a pet store. When Jim and his ex broke up, and he was moving out, he was taking Rosebud to put her into the moving truck, and McDuff went absolutely crazy - he seemed to know that they weren't coming back, and he was NOT okay with them leaving him behind. Jim picked him up and put him in the truck with him and Rosebud, and the three were together ever since.

I'm so glad McDuff chose to stay with Jim and Rosie, instead of with the ex. If he had stayed with the ex, I never would have gotten to know him, and he was a dog I was very happy to know. He was the sweetest little boy, always ready with a kiss. My life is better for having known this little dog.
Good-bye McDuff. I love you.

I haven't been playing the Sims 2 this week, but for good reason! I was so close to finally finishing the blanket I've been making for my baby niece, Natalie, that I just did a big push of work, and finally finished it last night. Want to see?

I'm really happy with the way it came out. And I'm super happy to finally be finished! :D Now I can start another project, and actually spend this weekend playing my game! I came up with a great way to end the PGT, and the storyline kind of has to go into action soon. Like, in the next update. So I need to figure out logistics and start getting the shots I need.

Oh, and this plot I have in mind will go against legacy rules, but I really don't care. Those of you who read it aren't going to like it, though. I expect lots of sadness in comments for a while. Hee. I'm still doing it, though - I think it'll be a good story, if I only make myself go through with it. I may need to just play the rest of it and write it up and then upload chapter after chapter all in a row to finish up, though. If I don't, I'm liable to chicken out (I know myself too well).

Anyway, the idea has me excited about my legacy again, which is something I haven't been in a while, so it's a good thing, I think. And the end is so close! Fun. :)
Time to Prosper Again

I'm reading through the livejournal legacy that Orikes linked to earlier, reading the past generations before getting to the newer stuff. The person writing it seems to kind of play prosperity style, or at least it reminds me of that challenge. And I miss my prosperity neighborhood! I lost it when I had computer problems a while ago (I didn't have it backed up). I think I may need to start a new one again. I miss playing those Sims and that whole neighborhood.

Sometimes I wish the legacy challenge was shorter, though. Do any of you who are playing one wish that sometimes? I love my Finches so much, but to be honest, I'm kind of not getting the same kick out of writing them as I used to. Maybe you can tell that just by how long I took away from them this summer. I'm pretty confident that the adoption legacy is just done, although I'm not ready to say that on boolprop yet, in case I finish the PGT and change my mind. I'll finish the PGT, but I think I need a different neighborhood to play, just for fun. So I think I might be creating a new prosperity neighborhood for myself, to play between PGT updates.

So I just need to answer a few questions for myself.

1. What neighborhood will I play in? Or maybe I'll choose a custom neighborhood again? I'm not sure. I'm missing Belladonna Cove, so since I'm probably done with the Finches who moved there (at least as far as updating goes), I may put a clean version into the game and start there.

And okay, that's really the only question, because I'll use random dice rolls to figure out how many families to create.

And in a totally unrelated note, can I just say that I love that this game is still entertaining me, so many years after it came out, and even after the release of Sims 3? The Sims 2 just may have my heart forever.

Okay, let's try this again. :) I posted this earlier today, only to find out that not all of the slides had made it in, so I had to reupload. So here I am again. (Just an explanation in case you saw me show up in your friends list for two minutes, only to disappear again.)

Okay! I decided I wanted to test out this slideshare thing before I tried writing the next PGT chapter. Jake had a good number of slides that were going to focus on him, so I pulled them out of the update and created a short (very short) side story about him.

I'm hoping those of you who have uploaded chapters this way before will give me any hints or tips you have for making them as nice and as easily as possible. I created this in Power Point and saved it as a PDF, and uploaded that. I didn't really love working in Power Point, though. So, advice? If you have it, I'll take it. I specifically wondered what size to use for the original document if I decide to create it a different way. I don't want my pictures to get all distorted when people go full screen.

Please comment on the story on boolprop. I'll be posting the link there as soon as I get this post online.

Thank you for reading!

Jake<lj-embed id="3" />
View more documents from avidreader2466.

I've been playing quite in New Riverblossom quite a bit! I am almost completely through the spring rotation that I started months ago, and yesterday I made it back to the main house for the first time. I don't know if I had written in here about Jane's twins or not, but since they were infants when I went back into the house, I'm going to assume not. So, meet Danny and Joey!

This one is Joey.

And Danny. They look so much alike! I won't say they're identical - do identical twins even exist in this game, really? I have no idea. But I don't really see much of a difference between them at this point. I look forward to seeing them as kids, when it may be more clear.

So obviously they have a good bit of their father in them (Trevor has the Remington Harris face, in case you don't remember since I've been gone so long). I love their kind of droopy gray eyes. (These eyes are the defaults from Di, by the way - I don't know if I ever mentioned that I downloaded those and started using them. I LOVE them. They're so bright and nice looking.) I didn't bring their personality stats with me, but they're both more mean than not (one has 1, the other has 3), one is super neat (I love neat freaks), and as usual, they're very active. I love these little guys already, and can't wait to see them grow up.

I was also happy that ACR sent Jane and Trevor back to bed mid-season, and she got pregnant. She should be giving birth on the first morning of summer, so I'm going to keep playing the house until she gives birth. I hope she has a girl! If she does, she can be done reproducing, and I can have half the number of kids as I had last generation.

So, what do you think of my boys? Do you see any differences in their faces that I'm not seeing?

Sim Upload Question

You may have noticed I'm starting to make my way back into the Sims 2 world. I'm catching up on stories, commenting - I even opened New Riverblossom and played Eugene for a little while last night! (Eugene is Emma's brother, and the easiest house to start with in working my back into the neighborhood, since he lives alone with a roommate.) I think I may actually be overcoming the burnout that took me out a few months ago. (I even read my last update, so I could remember where I was in the story when I stopped playing the Finches. I definitely left some story threads dangling that I need to remember to pick back up.)

But I was basically avoiding all Sims 2 stuff during the whole problem with the exchange, so I wasn't quite sure what caused all of the problems with it. I'm facing it now, though. Hurrikaty asked me for a Sim to enter into her BC, and I gladly offered her Jake - maybe Lucy can be the woman to make him settle down and stop straying to other women. But when I went in to upload him for her this morning, I got the error code - even after I downloaded the patch they put out to fix the problem.

So I'm here asking my smart Sims 2 friends if any of you can help me. I'm actually thinking it might be a good idea to avoid the exchange, and just upload him to one of the other accounts. Do any of you have experience doing that? Would you mind pointing me in the right direction to get me started, so I can upload Jake?

Thanks, guys! And I really am starting to catch up on stories, so if I owe you comments, you should get them soon. It'll take me a while, though - there have been a lot of updates put out in the last three months. :D

Oh, and to update you on McDuff (the dog in my avatar). He's still with us. He's coughing a lot more now, because the mass is pushing on his lungs and windpipe, but he is still acting happy, he's eating like a horse, and seems to be feeling well. So for now we're still having fun just enjoying him. Thanks for all your nice comments about him in my last post. I'm hoping he'll stick around for at least a little while longer.

I have plans of finally catching up on all the Sims stories I'm behind on (which would be all of them). I wanted to start doing that this week. But I've been sidetracked.

Our adorable, cute, handsome little man, McDuff (as seen in my avatar) has lymphoma. We're not treating, due to his current condition and his age - we're just giving medication for the symptoms and spending as much time as we can with him before he goes too far downhill.

I find myself on the brink of tears at random moments. Thoughts of coming home to three dogs instead of four, watching the space on the floor where he would be, listening for the happy barks that won't come. He's still here, and I try to appreciate that, but my mind keeps skipping ahead to when he'll be gone. I'm starting to mourn while he's still here, breathing hard and fast from the fluid in his chest.

I relish every kiss he gives me, wish I could stop time while his head is resting on my thigh as he sleeps next to me.

Our dogs are our kids. This one started as Jim's, but he's ours now. I love his little white face. He looks like a polar bear cub, I tell Jim - all bright white fur and dark black eyes and nose. He's our fuzzy little boy. I'm going to miss him when he's gone.

And while he's still here, I'm petting as much as he'll let me, trying not to think ahead. But unable to stop myself.

Losing pets never gets easier. And yet we keep adopting new ones to fill the holes the old ones have left, only to have our hearts broken all over again.

I'll catch up on Sims stories soon. For now, it's me, Jim and McDuff.

Addie & Amelia Hit Sims 3

Saturday morning I got up and turned on my desktop, to play the Sims 3 for a while. I was getting bored with my test family (a badly made version of me and my fiance), so I decided to try my hand at the new Create a Sim again, and this time I decided to bring a couple of my Finches into the game. I'm so used to playing that family, it doesn't feel right to play anyone else for too long.

I went in to create Addie, and did a pretty good job of it, I think. But I just couldn't put her in game alone - how can I play Addie without Amelia?

For reference, I'll show Sims 2 pictures of them both, which are what I used as references to create them in Sims 3.

That's Addie on top, and Amelia below. This is when they were in college.

Here they are in Sims 3 (I didn't get a great close-up of Addie's face in the same sort of position, but I think you can still compare pretty well).

I was very happy with how they came out. :) Their hair looks different, of course, because there isn't much to choose from in Sims 3 yet. But their features are as close to the same as I could get. I'm happier with Addie than I am with Amelia, but she's close enough, I think.

So I put them in game. I forgot to write down the traits I gave them, but I think I can remember. Amelia is easy: family oriented, green thumb, natural cook, friendly and good. Addie I gave traits to suit the way she would have been if she hadn't been under the restrictions of the legacy: friendly, charismatic, flirty, commitment phobic and party animal. Their lifetime wishes: Amelia wants to learn every recipe, and Addie wants to max out her guitar and charisma skills. And a fun fact - they gain charisma now through socializing with other Sims, so she's not being stuck in front of the mirror for hours, which is a GREAT improvement.

Now, I have a few more pictures to share. :)

I put them in game, and got them both jobs. Addie rolled a want to work in politics, so she got a job in that, and Amelia rolled a want for a job in the culinary career, so she got a job at a local restaurant. When Addie walked out newly hired, she started chatting up the locals. She makes friends really easy because of being charismatic, and she also, of course, loves to flirt. :)

Their first night in town, Addie wanted to throw a party, so she did, inviting over everyone she had met. They brought some friends, too. One thing I've discovered is the differences in parties. First, you have to arrange them in advance. When I tried to have one start right after she called to arrange it, the game told me the guests needed some time to get there. Which makes sense. Second, there doesn't seem to be a limit on who you can invite. Third, the person arranging the party can invite everyone everyone in the house knows, so Addie was able to invite Amelia's friends, which I loved. Fourth, everyone you invite may not come, but random people you didn't invite will. Which is fun.

Anyway, so she's thrown a couple of parties, which makes her very happy. She truly is a party animal. :)

While Addie was making friends and throwing parties, Amelia was planting a garden and working on her cooking skill (by the way, that's the Broke home behind her).

And she's donating money to charity, even though she doesn't have much to spare (this is because of her "good" trait). Oh, and this is her work outfit, and her uniform puts her into that hat with short hair, even though she has long hair the rest of the time. I'm just imagining that the rest of her hair is tucked under the hat. :P

Addie starts working on her guitar skills. The best thing about this game is the Create a Style, by the way. You can customize everything! It's incredible.

Addie starts working on hooking herself a boy toy. This guy is Trigger Broke (Addie and Amelia are living in Riverview, which is where the Brokes are). I'm not sure how he's related to the Brokes that we all know from Sims 2. The Brokes are Addie and Amelia's closest neighbors - they have a lot with three trailers on it. Hee. They're pretty much living up to their last name.

Addie is flirty, and Trigger is very receptive. I had Addie ask him back to the house, because Amelia had a wish to meet him - I guess she wants to know the guy her sister is dating? Which is nice, and really seems to fit Amelia.

They get to know each other a little better at home, and progress to kissing and even making out.

And okay, she isn't living under any legacy restrictions here, so she gets to have the kind of fun she didn't have in the PGT. :P I didn't have them try for baby, although I was tempted. For now, they're just hitting the sheets together without consequences. I may have him move in at some point, when they get that option, though, and have them have a baby. And of course Amelia needs to find a husband. She had a wish to romance a guy she works with, but he had a girlfriend, and wasn't interested. So she'll have to find someone else, since I don't see Amelia as a home wrecker at all.

As for Trigger, he seems to have the childish trait:

This is him making faces at himself in the mirror, after getting out of bed with Addie. Hee.

So, obviously I'm really enjoying this game. I still think I'll be playing the Sims 2 too, but for now I'm happy to learn more about this one. I am in love with the graphics, and so far I haven't found anything to really bother me about this one. I know a lot of people aren't liking it, and are preferring 2 instead, but I can't say that. I went into this thinking of it as a completely different game, and I haven't been disappointed, maybe because I wasn't trying to compare it to 2. I like it a lot.
I know some of you have mixed feelings about Sims 3, but I am SUPER excited about it for some reason. I wasn't going to be able to buy it until Friday, when I get paid, which was kind of killing me, frankly. But then Jim called me this morning, and asked me if I had ordered it yet. I told him no, and he said "maybe" we could talk about getting it for me tonight as an early birthday present. Woo! I am very excited right now.

I don't think this will make me stop wanting to play the Sims 2, but for a while, at least, I think I'll be solely concentrating on Sims 3. Not that I'm playing much Sims 2 right now, anyway. But still. :)

I can't wait to make a Sim Me and a Sim Jim and move them into town.
Okay, I have a stupid question that probably everyone knows the answer to but me - but then, I had never played Pleasantview before now.

The other night I went into the Caliente sisters' house for the first time. I was having fun figuring them out. Dina (the blonde, right?) invited Mortimer over, and I sent them to consummate their relationship. ACR had them trying for baby, and it worked. Hee. So now Dina is going to be able to con Morty into marrying her to give the little bastard baby a name. It's fun. Nina tried the same thing with Daniel Pleasant (all on her own), but she didn't get pregnant, so she'll have to try again. You guys are right - Pleasantview is fun.

But then I was checking out their house when I first went in there to play, and saw an urn in the living room, and the name on it was Michael Bachelor. I just happened to read online that Michael is Bella's brother. What is the background story here? How did he die, and why is his urn in the Caliente's living room? Their memories didn't tell any stories, so I'm stumped here.

I realize that I haven't really been anywhere in our Sims community recently, so I thought I better just pop to say I'm not dead - still just sort of out of the Sims. For the first time ever, though, this time I'm not just avoiding playing the game, I'm also kind of avoiding all Sims stuff altogether. So I'm not in livejournal much, and I'm not reading updates, and I apologize - I always loved getting comments on my stories, so I apologize for not commenting on all of the updates you guys have put out recently.

I'm still not sure what's up with this absence from all things Sims 2. I am playing sometimes, but only in Pleasantview. I've gone into New Riverblossom twice, and once I even managed to stay long enough to install a recent high school grad into college (he had been sitting in the Sim bin at Sim State U). But that's all I've done there. I guess I'm avoiding the neighborhood until I see if this is a temporary lull in my Sims 2 obsession, and if it comes back full force or not. If it does, I'll continue with the two legacies. If not, I don't know. So, the town sits there, untouched.

In the meantime, I've finished one baby blanket, that I made for my new great-nephew, Eli. I'm working on a second one, that I'm making for my new niece, Natalie. I'm watching TV a little, but since the season is about over for everthing I watch, when I watch anything, it's usually DVDs. Most of all, I'm rediscovering my love of reading - I'm going through more library books than I have in years. Seriously, I haven't read this much since I went back to college in 1996 and stopped having time for it, what with the classes, homework and working. It's a nice change of pace, and I'm loving finding more and more books to enjoy. Recently I've been concentrating on reading some of the Pulitzer Prize winning novels, both recent and past. I think I'd like to read all of them, actually. In fact, if I had the money, I'd love to own first editions of all of them. But can you imagine how much a first edition of To Kill a Mockingbird, for example, would cost? They started awarding the Pulitzer to novels (or fiction, as they list it now) in 1918. I would have to win the lottery, pretty much, to be able to afford first editions of that many books (even though there are years when they haven't awarded a Pulitzer in this category at all).

So. That's what's up with me. What about you all? Is anyone getting the Sims 3 this week?

Simming and Breaks and Thoughts Galore

I'm having a lot of fun with my Simming break. I've almost finished the baby blanket I'm making for my new great-nephew (who was just born this week). I have the materials to start one for my brother's baby, who is due at some point this month. I've been watching TV and DVDs, and relaxing with my fiance. It's been nice.

I have played a little bit, but not in my legacy neighborhoods. I'm just dabbling with little play sessions here and there, and am not feeling at all up to working towards another update, so I've been playing in Pleasantview. I know most people have played those Sims time and time again, but I had never played any of them! Crazy, I know. So I plopped some of the Sim bin Sims into houses, and then I went to the Goth house to start to play. I knew Cassandra was set up to get left at the altar by Don, so I let that happen, and then I had her talking to her good friend Darren Dreamer to get her social back up, and of course I ended up inviting him over, and ACR took over the second he was on the lot with a "first kiss." (I downloaded the new ACR.)

So, Cassandra and Darren are now married. Cassandra endeared herself to me by rolling a want to be friends with Dirk, and then keep the unlocked want there for about three Sim days until I was finally able to make it happen. She and Darren welcomed a baby boy named Daniel, so their little family is growing. As for Dirk, he's having fun dating Lillith.

That's pretty much all I've done in the three or so weeks it's been since I said I was taking a break. I did go into the Goth house last night, but really all I managed to do was redecorate the house a little bit and hire them a butler. It seemed like if any Sim was going to have a butler, it would be Mortimer Goth. I'm looking forward to getting to know Alex and Morty better, though. I invited Dina Caliente over to see what would happen between her and Mortimer, but other than them having a "first kiss"* as well, nothing has happened, really. She played the piano, and he played chess or something, I don't remember. I'll let them decide if they want to go any further with their relationship, though, when I get back in there again.

*(The quotes are around the words first kiss, because it seems really silly to think that neither one of these Sims would have kissed before. I mean, Cassandra was engaged to DON, of all people, and Morty was married and had two kids!)

So, not much playing, but there has been a little. I'm enjoying playing just for fun, without worrying about storylines or getting scenes or planning for future updates.

Which brings me to my other thought - I'm really not sure if I want to continue with my legacies. The idea of not playing the Finches again just about kills me, so I know I want to continue to play the neighborhoods, but I'm not sure if I want to continue writing about them. I already have one completed legacy under my belt, so I don't feel the pressure to finish these, really. Although the idea of quitting the PGT when generation 8 has just been born feels kind of stupid.

But if I'm not enjoying writing it anymore, it's not really stupid to quit, right?

I'm not saying I'm quitting. I'm just saying I've been thinking about it, and avoiding New Riverblossom and Belladonna Cove until I make a decision one way or the other. I guess I just need more time to figure out if I'm really done, or if I was just burned out and need time to regain my enthusiasm.

Anyway, I'm enjoying my break. I've even doubled up my exercising efforts, doing 40 minutes a night Monday through Friday, and just a short 10 minutes on the weekend days, in an effort to actually lose all the weight I want to lose by the end of the year. I'm sick of carrying it around with me all the time, and avoiding my reflections and pictures, so it's time to do it. The exercise is working - I can feel my body changing - so I'm happy. And I'm eating a healthy, well balanced diet, so my body is getting both more toned and healthier, which makes me very happy.

Okay, that's enough from me for now. I hope you all are having great springs! And hey, summer is almost here, woo!

It's spring, and somehow that seems to mean it's time for my spare time to be devoted to other things than the Sims. I have the urge to read, knit, cross-stitch and just generally do anything that doesn't tie me to the computer during my free time.

For this reason, I'll probably be a little scarce for a while. I won't be playing for a little while, there won't be an update for a while in either legacy, and I may just generally disappear a bit from the lj community.

I don't know how long this will last - history has shown that I can't really seem to stay away from my Sims for very long before I go into withdrawal and need desperately to play for an entire day. But for now, at least, I'm going to be doing other stuff.

Have fun, people. :)

Jane just had her babies. Yes, I said babies - she had twins! They were born, and I thought surely one of them would be a girl, and she could be done having babies, and I'd only have two kids this generation.

So of course she had twin boys. The Finch family now includes babies Joseph and Daniel (Joey and Danny). They both have their father's skin tone, gray eyes and brown hair.

I can't wait to see them as toddlers. And the third baby better be a girl! :)

They're Fixed! And Minor Picspam

Thanks to Ndainye's expert advice, I got Jane and Trevor back, yay! I deleted the vacation hood and loaded up their house, holding my breath the whole while, and when I got onto the lot, the airport shuttle pulled up, and Jane and Trevor got out. So all is well. Whew! Thanks Jenn!

I decided not to send them back on vacation, even though they technically had two days left on their vacation when they disappeared. I didn't want to chance it at this time, I guess. The only thing I wanted them to still do was learn to teleport (Jane had the chance once, but answered the Ninja's question wrong, so he disappeared on her), and they can always go back for a second honeymoon at some point and do that.

Anyway, since I got to finish winter in the main house last night, I have some minor picspam for you!

First, for all of you who felt like Emma may have calmed down too much after college, my assumption that it was only because she wasn't exposed to strangers anymore was proven right last night. Jane got a job in the law career (her LTW is to be the law), and on her first day of work, brought this redheaded woman home. Jane made nice with her, and got the networking gift of a higher salary. Nice!

Then a little while later I was off following some other Sim, either Jane or Alma, I guess, and got a pop-up that the same redheaded Sim was very upset at Emma, and she worked for a warehouse somewhere, and she was going to make sure Emma paid top dollar for everything she bought from now on! Ha! I had no idea what brought that on, so I clicked on Emma and found this:

What a witch, pushing my Emma through the grandfather clock! Well, don't you worry about our Emma.

She gives as good as she gets. :) (And actually, judging by her clothing, she must have come home with Trevor, not Jane. He's in the medical career track now, since it was his LTW to be Chief of Staff.)

Judging by the look on Emma's face, Red here better be careful, or she's going to find herself in serious pain.

After this little shoving match, Emma smustled for a few minutes, and then went downstairs to stalk Nick. Red followed her, bruising for a fight.

Emma told her to back the eff off. I really expected to see a fight, and was all prepared to sit back and watch the fun, but Red left before it went any further. It was very fun to see Emma unleash her claws again, though, after all this time.

She even had fun telling her pregnant daughter about how much she hated that woman later on. :) Oh Emma, I do love you. (Also, Emma has a gold sewing badge now - she's my first Sim ever to do that! She made that dress she's wearing, and she also made a custom dress for Jane that I've yet to put on her, but will in the spring.)

And yes, Jane is pregnant! She's due to deliver the night after I get back to playing the house in the spring. I thought about staying in the house long enough to get her to deliver, but Christa has been pregnant for a long time, and I just feel like she should deliver before Jane. So I'll come back and get Jane's baby born early in the spring rotation.

She looks pretty happy pregnant, though, doesn't she? Also, I love the hacks that let them wear their own clothes while pregnant. This is so much better than the ugly pregnancy pajamas. Jane was nice to me and rolled a want to have a baby, too - and she's a fortune Sim! So I was surprised. I might give her a secondary of family.

Also, speaking of Sims acting against what you'd think they would, let's take a look at Alma, shall we? She has one nice point. One - the same as her grouchy mother up there, who wants nothing more than to punch in Red's face. But she is so nice! In fact, I caught her doing this more than once:

Isn't this a nice Sim action?

As you can see by the sparkly skin, she has become a witch (yay!). She was turned by a good witch, so she is now Alma Finch the Infallibly Good Witch. Is the 10 nice point grin a result of her being a good witch, rather than being tied to her nice points?

Frankly, her niceness is kind of killing the story I had in mind for her, too. I won't say too much about it, in case I decide to still do it, but I suck at writing Sims different than they act. My stories may suffer for that, but I like to write them as they really are in the game - hence Emma calming down after college, after she became perma-plat and she stopped having to face strangers on a regular basis. So the not so nice things I had in mind for her to do may not happen if I don't see her showing her one nice point any time soon. I don't know. I'm considering just revising my plans for her.

Anyway, picspam just about over. I'll just leave you with a picture of Alma's first spell (done autonomously, right after the good witch showed her the path of light - the first spell I told her to do after this was to get rid of all those leaves on the side yard).
